As a quality new home builder, we are proud to offer our buyers a new kind of warranty
the most comprehensive new home warranty available today. Through our relationship with
Professional Warranty Service Corporation (PWC), we are able to offer this exceptional
approach to new home warranty protection.
Our Home Builder’s Limited Warranty goes well beyond the standard ten year structural failure warranties
offered by many builders. The Home Builder’s Limited Warranty provides coverage for construction defects,
including up to 15 years of structural element failure coverage on your home. Additionally, our One Year
Platinum Protection Plan addresses other items in your home that we will remedy when the condition exceeds
the McCAR Homes Limited Warranty Guidelines. Details on the Platinum Protection Plan are found in the McCAR
Homes Home Owner Handbook. See the sample limited warranty booklet for a detailed explanation on the process
we will use to determine whether a condition in your home is covered under the warranty.
We’re proud of the quality and value we strive for in our new homes. But should we ever disagree on whether a
condition in your home is a “Construction Defect”, the warranty provides for mediation of the dispute through PWC
and, if necessary, resolution through binding arbitration conducted by an independent third party. This system has
been designed to resolve good faith differences of opinion in a timely and cost effective manner, without the burden
and expense of endless litigation.
We know your new home is most likely the largest investment you will ever make, and we want you to feel as secure and
comfortable as possible in choosing us to build your new home for you. Very few builders are eligible to offer this
expanded, long-term warranty, and we think this says something important about us. And if we strive to give you this
level of written warranty protection, imagine the quality we seek in the rest of your home!
Selling your new home will not affect the remaining term of our Home Builder’s Limited Warranty. All the new homeowner
has to do is complete the “Subsequent Home Buyer Acknowledgment and Transfer” form found in the warranty document. This
feature could be an attractive resale tool for you and your real estate agent when the time comes to sell your home.
We will be happy to answer any questions and provide you with a sample of our Home Builder’s Limited Warranty; we look
forward to helping you!
